The secret to achieving a “smoky eye” is in the colors you use! Start with a light color wash all over the eyelid and up to the eye brow. Mary Kay’s Crystalline, Honey Spice or Moonstone work well with all skin tones. Then choose 2 colors that are similar yet have a deeper tone. Choose Chocolate Kiss and French Roast, or Iris and Sweet Plum (as pictured), or Stone and Coal or Peacock Blue and Midnight Star.
Following the picture –use the lighter shade first, then layer the deeper color in the crease and outside corner. Then blend, blend, blend! There is no wrong or right way. Play with the colors until you feel comfortable with your smoky look!
